About the Author
Isabella Baudelaire is a 24 year old artist from the Netherlands, who specializes in portraying myths, legends, superstition, folk songs and all other things related to folklore. She does this by depicting these stories in her works of art; as ink drawings, lino cuts, paper shadow puppets, books and articles. The subjects she illustrates are very broad; witchcraft, tales of the supernatural and mythical creatures are returning topics in her work, as they are subjects on which she has studied extensively. In addition to preserving these old stories in her work, she also has a large range of art works derived from her own imagination. Occasionally Isabella works as a freelance illustrator and designer. You can see more of her work here and here, and you can purchase her drawings, shadow puppets and other products on her website.
